    friendly staff
    comfortable rooms
    great breakfast
    tricky parking

Had a fantastic time with friends. We explored Forsyth Park and River Street, and loved the vibe! The staff was super friendly, and the complimentary breakfast and happy hour were highlights. Rooms were comfortable and well-kept, and the area felt safe to walk around. Definitely a place I'd recommend!

The parking situation was a bit tricky. There are limited spots, and the rear cars need to be moved for others to get out. Just be prepared for a slight delay.

    spacious room
    scrumptious breakfast
    lacking pet-friendly areas

During our recent stay, we were delighted with the friendly staff and enjoyed the complimentary wine & cheese happy hour. The breakfasts were scrumptious, especially the honey biscuits—definitely a highlight! Plus, our room was spacious, which was perfect for us and our two dogs.

My wife says that a few more pet-friendly areas would be nice.

    spacious balcony

    overwhelming traffic
    limited amenities
    noise disturbances

Sunshine poured into the spacious balcony of the Jean Pierre Lafayette room, making mornings delightful. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the mouthwatering blueberry French toast. The personal touches, like a card celebrating our anniversary, created a warm atmosphere. The attentive staff ensured we felt at home during our stay. While exploring the area was enjoyable, traffic could be overwhelming at times, and some amenities were limited in the evening hours.

    freshly baked biscuits

    happy hour delights
    quirky parking
    soundproofing issues

The food scene at the Gastonian knocked my socks off! Those freshly baked honey biscuits and shrimp and grits were the stuff of legends. Plus, the friendly staff made happy hour a blast with their tea sandwiches and delightful desserts.

Parking was a bit quirky since they shuffle your keys, and I noticed the walls could use a little soundproofing.

The Gastonian, Historic Inns Of Savannah Collection, was a lovely escape with its elegant period decor, spacious common areas, and easy accessibility. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful antique furnishings and the warm, welcoming atmosphere that made me feel at home.

Higher water pressure in shower would be nice.

We had a surprise bottle of Prosecco waiting for us in the room on our anniversary. The breakfast delivered on a silver tray was some next level luxury, with options that blew our minds.

It was pricey but honestly worth it.

I loved my stay at the Gastonian! The breakfasts impressed me every morning. Freshly baked honey biscuits and shrimp and grits really hit the spot. The staff provided amazing service. they were friendly and attentive. I appreciated the evening social hour with wine and hors d'oeuvres. It felt like a welcoming community gathering. My room, the Jean Pierre Lafayette, was spacious and beautifully decorated. I enjoyed the cozy fireplace. However, the shower pressure could have been better. it was a bit low and inconsistent. Despite this minor issue, the experience was delightful overall. The historical charm of the place drew me in, and the personalized touches made it even more special. I especially loved the cookies left during turndown service! Overall, an enjoyable stay with only a few bumps in the road.
